Tremblant Baby Blanket
This baby sized blanket combines texture and colour in a playful balance. It was named for it’s geometric stitch pattern which resembles mountain peaks. Knit in creamy white it brings to mind the snow covered ski runs in Mont Tremblant, Quebec. The body of the blanket is knit all in one with knits and purls defining the triangle texture. The border is knit on after using a pick up and knit technique. The aran weight yarn makes this blanket thick and cushioned. We used Cascade 128 which is a wonderfully soft merino and is machine washable too! Your Knit Café Knit Kit comes with four contrasting colours to border your blanket. Delightful!
Your Knit Kit comes with: the Knit Café Tremblant Baby Blanket pattern and three skeins of ivory Cascade128 Superwash Merino, and four 30 gram cakes of Cascade 128 in contrasting colours aqua, silver, orange, and yellow for the border.
Level: Knitters should know how to cast on, knit and purl, pick up stitches, and bind off to make this blanket.
