Designing Colour Stories Workshop with Sue Maton

The Knit Cafe is delighted to have the talented Crochet Artist Sue Maton visiting us from the UK to teach 2 workshops: Designing Colour Stories and Join As You Go Crochet Flowers. These are wonderfully complementary classes, so we would not blame you if you wanted to take them both!

In the Designing Colour Stories Workshop students will explore two different approaches for generating unique ‘colour stories’. Get ready to develop your own personal colour-style and pallets that are informed by theory and guided by intuition.

Sue will ease you through exercises that will help grow your colour confidence and understanding and explain how these new insights can be assets in all your creative endeavors. Crocheters, knitters, stitchers and makers of all stripes are invited. Grab your glue sticks and we will see you there!

1 session, some materials will be provided

Materials: Participants are asked to bring a pair of paper scissors, a glue stick, and a pen/pencil.  A sketchbook (A4 or A3) and a ruler would be great but not essential.

Level: No experience necessary.

Cancelation PolicyNo refunds are provided for students who cancel their class registrations. A store credit or exchange of the date of the class can be given if you provide 3 days notice prior to the first session of your class. Notifications made within 3 days of the start date are not eligible for a store credit or exchange. Exceptions may be made for students who miss classes due to COVID-symptoms - please get in touch.
