Introduction to Knitted Lace
Lace stitching is incredibly enticing and sadly often equally intimidating. With a little guidance though, the process of deciphering lace can be pretty darn painless. In this class students will learn a variety of simple lace stitching techniques. Reading lace patterns that are both written and charted, and tricks to preventing lace disasters will be discussed. Students will try out their stitch-witchery on a simple lace pattern and start on a pretty lace scarf, perfect for Spring/Summer stitching and wearing.
