Prairie Sock

Jewel tones hobnob with earthy hues in the totally unique colourways from Essence of Autumn. We are so happy to be able to showcase this talented Canadian enterprise at The Knit Cafe.  We love these vibrant multicoloured skeins for cheerful, hand knit socks, for knit and crochet patterns that combine colours in blends and fades, and for any project where a colourful impact is called for.
Superwash merino and nylon is the classic fibre blend for sock knitting but this fine yarn will also make beautiful garments of all kinds including shawls, and scarves, baby cloths, and even grown-up sweaters. Check out the new pattern from Caitlin Hunter that features Essence of Autumn, fingering weight yarn called Painted Pullover.
