Sock Lite

Olann is a marvelous hand dying enterprise based in Ireland. They create revelatory colour concoctions using a variety of techniques both traditional and innovative. The skeins are dyed in small batches to ensure that quality and artistry permeate each. Olann takes the same care when choosing their yarn bases. All their yarns are ethically sourced to make sure the animals and the humans working with them are treated humanely. The Sock Lite is a fine fingering weight yarn, a blend of superwash merino and nylon , and it is so soft! Very suitable indeed for wearing against the skin in a neck draper or a sweater. The Knit Café designed a pattern for our 2018 Yarn Club called Equinox. It can be completed with 2 skeins of Olann Sock Lite, with some to spare thanks to the generous yardage on each Sock Lite skein - 425 metres.
