Crochet Sweater Vest Class
Making your first crochet garment will really expand your crochet skills! Join us in this class to make the Crochet Vest Top pattern by Carrie Chambers. Participants will learn how to follow crochet patterns for apparel including choosing sizes, gathering materials, and getting accurate gauge for the right fit. Construction basics like shaping with increases and decreases, seaming, and 2 types of edging will all be covered. The vest pattern has sizes from Small to 3XL, with finished chest measurements of 33"/84cm to 50"/126cm. Please join us for this fun workshop and start your crochet fashion adventure.

Materials: DK weight yarn 600- 800m (654-872 yards) Note: if you want a longer body for this vest, you will have to add more yarn to the amounts listed.
3mm and 4mm hooks (size of hooks may vary to suit gauge), locking stitch markers and darning needle.
Level: Intermediate. Participants must be confident with basic crochet skills: chaining, single and half double crochet, increases/decreases. Pattern reading is an asset, but not required. Students who have taken the Crochet 101 Class will be ready for this class.
