Balaclava Knitting Class
A Balaclava is an ingenious knit accessory that combines a hat and a turtleneck into one cozy garment. So practical for a chilly winter season! Delving into all the steps involved in making a Balaclava will teach you many knit skills. Students in this class will get an introduction to the purl stitch, and how to use it along with knit stitches to create a simple texture. They will learn how to knit in rounds on circular needles, some common shaping techniques, and some fancy finishing skills. They will also practice deciphering a knitting pattern, which is an essential skill for all knitters. To join this class, prior knowledge of the basics is required, so those who have already taken a Knitter's Crash Course are invited!
