Corner to Corner Crochet
In this one evening workshop you will get an introduction to this very versatile crochet technique. With corner to corner crochet, stitches are not worked in the traditional manner - back and forth; instead they are worked on the diagonal. This allows the crocheter to work from a picture charted on a grid to add motifs and surface designs to their crocheted blankets and pillows and other crafty masterpieces. This is one of the best techniques out there for crocheters to add colourful patterns to their projects. The basic crochet corner to corner technique will be explained and practiced in this class while you stitch away on a mushroom motif. Reading charted corner to corner crocheted pattern will also be covered. After this class you could apply your newly acquired crochet know-how to following any corner to corner pattern or even make up your own custom design by drafting your own chart.
