Introduction to Weaving
Learn the basics of weaving with a Rigid Heddle Loom. Students will learn how to plan their own project, warp a loom, weave their project while troubleshooting common issues and exploring different finishing techniques. Practice and experiment with Plain Weave Patterns, colour changes, and clasped wefts to create stripes and texture.
A Rigid Heddle Loom being compact and inexpensive, is a very user friendly and accessible gateway into the wonderful world of weaving. Students who wish to purchase Rigid Heddle Looms may do so at a discount. Yay!
