Mosaic Knitting Workshop
Many of us turn to knitting because we are colour-addicts! We want to use all the pretty colours and mix and match them as much as possible. Mosaic Knitting is one of the techniques that allow knitters to play with colours and create graphic surface patterns and motifs. It is not FairIsle (stranded knitting), nor is it Intarsia or Brioche it is something different and many knitters find it an easy- breezy knitting experience. In this one evening workshop you will learn all the basic skills involved in mosaic knitting as well as the unique pattern reading associated with this technique. Choose your two favourite colours and practice in class while making a charming coaster or trivet. Get advice on how to choose your first mosaic knitting projects and feel free to bring along aspirational mosaic knitting patterns for advice and council.
