Pattern Reading Workshop

Deciphering and decoding the mysteries of knitting patterns will be the topic of discussion in this class. We will be dissecting an beginner/intermediate level knitting pattern, learning to interpret abbreviations and punctuation, how to find and follow instructions for your size, how to choose yarns and needles to suit a knitting pattern and more.

The Knit Cafe's Toques For Tout Le Monde can be made for any size head (even babies) and can be made in several different yarns. This pattern will be given to all participants and there will be guidance and demonstrations on how to knit the hat, although the majority of the class will be spent with the pattern reading. Feel free to bring your own knitting patterns to class for discussion.
