Six Starter Stitches - An Introduction to Embroidery with Sam Lamb

Are you hand stitching curious but intimidated by the vast and varied world of embroidery? Then search no longer for the perfect solution. Six different fundamental embroidery stitches will be introduced and practiced in this step by step, stitch by stitch approach to learning embroidery. Your guide along the way will be Sam Lamb, a talented knitwear designer and textile whiz whose beautiful embroidery work has been featured in Making Magazine. We are so excited that she will be sharing her considerable skills and know-how with students at The Knit Cafe.

2 classes, all materials are included

Materials are included. Each student will receive embroidery needles, hoop, printed sampler fabric and your choice of 3 colours of beautiful Sajou embroidery floss. Please bring scissors to class if possible.
