Thrum Mitten Class

This pattern comes from the icey shores of Newfoundland where they know a thing or two about keeping the cold out. If these insulated mittens do the trick out on the Atlantic I bet they'll keep your digits cozy-warm too. These mittens are extra warm as they have a layer of wool roving knitted right into them creating a fluffy fleece lining. The roving also accounts for the adorable polka dotted exterior.

In this class we will get you acquainted with all the tricks of the trade for regular mitten making. You will learn 3D shaping methods such as increases and decreases, you will a make thumbs with a trick called picking up stitches and you will also learn how to add the warm thrum into you extra cushy mits.
