Julie Sinden from The Love of Colour will lead students through this DIY class to learn how to custom dye yarns with accessible “kitchen” techniques. Students will learn to mix, apply, and fix colours to yarn with professional grade acid dyes that are safe and economical.

Get ready to explore and play with colour; dyeing solid, variegated, or self strip patterns, while discussing basic colour theory and how it applies to yarn dyeing. You will leave this one-session class with several small skeins dyed to your fancy and the resources to dye more yarn in larger batches at home.

1 session class, all materials are included in class fee

Materials: Class fee includes 100 grams of yarn and dyes.

Level: No experience necessary.

Cancelation Policy: No refunds are provided for students who cancel their class registrations. A store credit or exchange of the date of the class can be given if you provide 3 days notice prior to the first session of your class. Notifications made within 3 days of the start date are not eligible for a store credit or exchange. Exceptions may be made for students who miss classes due to COVID-symptoms - please get in touch.
