Punch Needle Workshop
Punch Needling - It's a type of rug hooking! Produce your own beautiful textile designs with a delicate rug pile surface with the help of a streamlined tool called a punch needle. This method of creating is fun and easy. You can make your own fabrics for rugs, pillows, wall art, bags and baskets, slippers, wallets, cozies and stuffies of all kinds. In this class we will go through punch needle basics. You will learn all about the equipment and materials involved in this craft. Find out how to set up and finish a project. Get inspired by textural possibilities and get acquainted with your new favourite tool and all it can do.
Materials: The class fee includes all the materials necessary for this class and your first Punch Needle Project including a sturdy, no-slip Hooking Frame, Monks Cloth, Yarn in a variety of colours to pick from for your design, and of course a Punch Needle Tool from Amy Oxford.
Level: No experience necessary
Cancelation Policy: No refunds are provided for students who cancel their class registrations. A store credit or exchange of the date of the class can be given if you provide 3 days notice prior to the first session of your class. Notifications made within 3 days of the start date are not eligible for a store credit or exchange. Exceptions may be made for students who miss classes due to COVID-symptoms - please get in touch.
