Crochet 101

Our extended crochet program is for those who want to get a rock solid foundation in this lovely craft. In these 4 classes, basic stitch patterns will be practiced and perfected, and simple crochet patterns with be discussed and interpreted. Students can try out their skills on either a crocheted washcloth (a very functional favorite) or a scarf project. Circular or 3D crochet forms will also be covered and applied to  a crocheted toy.  Last but not least, students will undertake everyone's favourite crochet project - the Granny Square!

4 sessions, materials not included

Materials: yarn and hook to match for scarf/ washcloth project, worsted weight yarn and 4/4.5mm for  toy, and several colours of worsted weight yarn for Granny Squares. Come a little early and get advice about supplies available at the Knit Cafe!

Level: No experience necessary

Before Class: You will not receive a reminder email before your class so make sure to add it to your calendar. Get in touch with any questions. We can't wait to see you!

Cancelation Policy: No refunds are provided for students who cancel their class registrations. A store credit or exchange of the date of the class can be given if you provide 3 days notice prior to the first session of your class. Notifications made within 3 days of the start date are not eligible for a store credit or exchange. Exceptions may be made for students who miss classes due to COVID-symptoms - please get in touch.
