Hand-Dyed-Fuzzy Goodness! That is what Marsh Mohair is made of. All the beautiful colours Lichen and Lace is known for are now applied to a mohair yarn. The results are ethereal. The colours melt into the downy fibre and also... glow! The Marsh Mohair contains 28% silk, which makes the fine strands glisten. Silk also lends softness to this yarn blend.
This yarn is very fine and therefore we encourage you to blend it with other fibres. Use it double stranded with other Lichen and Lace yarns like 80/20 or Rustic Heather or the yarn of your choice. It will add a woolly halo to any garment or accessory. Or use it all on it's own for a dreamy light knit or crocheted piece. You could use it in the The Knit Cafe's Cloud or Sashiko projects for example.
Lichen and Lace yarns are dyed by hand in Sackville New Brunswick and the Knit Café is pleased to say it is one of our favourites.
