Skinny Andean Wool

If you love the happy colours made from KAOS Yarns but want a thicker yarn to work with - you are in luck! Skinny Andean wool will satisfy your colour urges but work up quicker than the KAOS Soft Organic Merino, or Organic Brushed Alpaca. It is a DK weight yarn with a soft, one-ply spin.

Spun from fibres from the natural crossbreed Merinos and Corriedale sheep that graze in the Andes 2500-5000 m above sea level. This yarn is made in Peru at a family owned and Fair Trade certified mill, ensuring good conditions for animals, people and the environment. 

This 100% Peruvian Wool maintains good stitch structure and definition no matter if you are wanting a loose or tight stitch. Exploring this yarn's texture possibilities will be a treat! We could see it work up into cozy sweaters or vests, hats or scarves, mittens or balaclavas, and on and on...
