This is one fine cotton! It has a real silky feel in the hand.
This is thanks to the extra-long staple length of this Californian grown fibre. This unusually long staple length is also responsible for Willet's luster and sweet softness. While creating the Willet Cotton, Quince and Co worked with farmers who excel in sustainable production methods. They have trademarked this cotton growing model as "Cleaner Cotton". You can read some about it HERE .
A few of these colours (almond and cashew) are extra special. They are undyed and their colour comes from the specific pedigree of the plant.
This pima-type cotton is special enough to work up into one of your most favourite knitted garments. Sweaters, and shawls and scarves will be beautiful when made from this yarn. Check out Quince and Co's great patterns for the Willet HERE. Crocheters will find it suitable for market bags, amigurumi, granny squares, and lacy wearables. Weavers will find it a strong warp yarn and an excellent weft too. Last, but not least, don't forget the kids! This yarn will be comfy for all ages to wear and it can be washed in the machine too!
