Vovo

When I grow up I want to be just like the woman on this yarn's wrapper - but wait - I don't have to wait! As I reach for my knitting needles let me tell you about this wonderful yarn. Vovo is another yarn project from the talented Rosa Pomar. Rosa has made it her mission to preserve the native sheep breeds and the important, cultural textile activities of Portugal. Vovo works up into a satisfying, even fabric. 100% non-treated wool with all of its inherent structure and memory holds every stitch in place. Just a hint of cozy halo is discernible when knitting or crocheting with this yarn. We love this fibre for making long-lasting sweaters. It is perfect for stranded colourwork, textured,or just plain-Jane stitching. 

Vovo gets softer after washing and blocking and wool lovers will love wearing it. Those who can only tolerate the softest merino and alpaca may only be able to use Vovo as outerwear pieces.

Care: wash in cold, lay flat to dry
