Merino Worsted
Lichen and Lace comes to us from a quiet nook called Sackville, New Brunswick. This tiny yet mighty town was built on a marsh and is known to be a great place to go for a walk. Marsh birds and grasses and flowers and beasties are what are evoked in the colours produced by the hand dyers at Lichen and Lace.
This pastoral artistry is applied to sweet knitting yarns like this worsted weight merino. It is a yarn which is smooth and glossy and comfortable to wear right against the skin. This merino will knit into plump well defined stitches that will show off most any stitch pattern. The yarn has been treated so you can throw it in your wash with no risk of felting. It will do you good for all garments and accessories. This medium weight yarn will knit up quicker and thicker then, it's cousin Lichen and Lace Organic 80/20. We think you will love it!
Note that each skein of Lichen and Lace yarn is an original and colour application changes from skein to skein and batch to batch which is part of the joy of making something handmade with something that was made by hand.
