80/20 Mini Skeins
These little buddies contain all the same great qualities that are evident in the full sized skeins of Lichen and Lace 80/20 -they're just mini-sized!
At The Knit Café we really can not get enough of mini skeins. They are wonderful for adding a zip of colour to any project. Heels and toes on a sock are a classic use for mini skeins but they come in handy for striping a sweater or adding to a granny square blanket. They are also good when you just can't decide on a colour and want to get them all!
Punch Needlers might try these with their Ultra Punch Tool.
Menders will find these useful for darning and visible mending.
80/20 yarn is sock weight (also called fingering weight). This soft, mostly merino is warm but not too warm, has nice drape, good sheen, excellent strength and tremendous colour, thanks to the artistry of Lichen and Lace. We are forever proud to sing the praises of this New Brunswick, hand dyeing enterprise. We love how every batch of Lichen and Lace is always different and special.
Lichen and Lace 80/20 Mini's would be well employed in The Knit Cafe's Maud Socks, and our Sweet Sock projects, as well as our 504 King West Shawlette, I'm Biased Scarf, Arts and Crafts Hat, Little Confetti Mittens and Baby Harem Pants.
