Crochet Cardigan Class

Join this class to bring your crochet skills to the next level! This fun, granny square–inspired cardigan is a perfect first garment project. Build skills in pattern reading, granny squares, crochet ribbing, colourwork, and simple shaping, with helpful tips along the way. Make a child-sized practice piece or an adult version for yourself.   Fee includes the cost of the Granny Hexagon Cardigan pattern designed by Kelly Phelps from Craft and a Cuppa.

2 session class, materials are not included.

Materials: This is a made to measure garment intended for any size yarn and hook, however we recommend DK or Worsted or thicker and the approximate yardage for DK is below 

DK Weight yarn with a 4.5-5.5 mm hook. 

XS - 920m/1010yd   S - 1060m/1160yd   M - 1200m/1320yd   L - 1360m/1500yd   

XL - 1500m/1640yd   2XL - 1630m/1780yd   3XL - 1920m/2100yd   4XL - 2160m/2360yd   

5XL - 2510m/2750yd

This is a great project to use up scraps -  or come by The Knit Cafe before Class to choose your materials! 

Level: Intermediate. Students should be confident with double crochet and stitching in rounds. Previous granny square experience is an asset.

Cancelation Policy: No refunds are provided for students who cancel their class registrations. A store credit or exchange of the date of the class can be given if you provide 3 days notice prior to the first session of your class. Notifications made within 3 days of the start date are not eligible for a store credit or exchange. Exceptions may be made for students who miss classes due to COVID-symptoms - please get in touch.
