Expand your horizons beyond following crochet patterns and adventure into the world of freeform crochet! The Knit Cafe is so pleased to have talented, local artist Mike Donohue as guest instructor for this special workshop. The class will include hands on instruction for drafting an idea for a 2D, crocheted work of art, specialized methods and tricks to realize your design, and the finishing skills necessary to complete your piece.
Let nature inspire you! Freeform crochet is ideally suited for natural, floral forms – trailing vines, bursts of flowers, seas of grasses... Come explore the possibilities and learn fun and empowering techniques to take charge of your creativity.
