Hat Knitting Class

A knitted hat can be a great second knitting project - especially if you have some guidance along the way. If you have taken our Knitter's Crash Course this could be a great next step on your knitting adventure.

In this class students will be introduced to the purl stitch and learn how to combine it with the knit stitch for a foundational knitting texture called "ribbing". In addition, students will learn how to knit in rounds on circular knitting needles and read a simple knitting pattern.

1 session, materials not included

Materials: 140m Bulky yarn such as Drops  Andes, or Snow  or Wool and the Gang Alpachino Merino and 6mm 40cm/16" circular needles. Come a little early and get advice about supplies available at the Knit Cafe!

Level: Beginner. Students should be comfortable with casting on, and the knit stitch. If you do not have these skills yet - check out our Knitter's Crash Course

Before Class: You will not receive a reminder email before your class so make sure to add it to your calendar. Get in touch with any questions. We can't wait to see you!
