Late Bloomer Mitten Kit
The Knit Cafe's Kristin Ledgett is the designer behind the Late Bloomer Mitten Pattern that graces the pages of Making Magazine No 10. Intricate.
The Late Bloomer Mittens have a simple gusseted thumb construction, and are knit with a strand of lace weight mohair doubled with a rustic sport weight yarn. It was designed especially for the incomparable Lichen and Lace yarns; Marsh Mohair and Rustic Heather Sport. The mittens are knit with a smattering of bobbles that are then embellished with hand stitched embroidery after the knitting is done. There is an option for adding a sewn liner into the mittens to make then doubly warm and cozy.
