Beginner Hat Knitting Class
A knitted hat can be a great second knitting project - especially if you have some guidance along the way. If you have taken our Knitter's Crash Course this could be a great next step on your knitting adventure.
In this class students will be introduced to the purl stitch and learn how to combine it with the knit stitch for a foundational knitting texture called "ribbing". In addition, students will learn how to knit in rounds on circular knitting needles and read a simple knitting pattern.
1 session, materials not included
Materials: 140m Bulky yarn such as Drops Wish, Andes, or Snow and 6mm 40cm/16" circular needles. Come a little early and get advice about supplies available at the Knit Cafe!
Level: Beginner. Students should be comfortable with casting on, and the knit stitch. If you do not have these skills yet - check out our Knitter's Crash Course
Cancelation Policy: No refunds are provided for students who cancel their class registrations. A store credit or exchange of the date of the class can be given if you provide 3 days notice prior to the first session of your class.
