First Pair of Socks Class
Socks! You can’t have too many of them, and they make appreciated gifts too. As a knitter, there is much to learn from socks. The sock pattern tends towards advanced decoding, and the sock heel a tricky bit of business to navigate. Once learned though, a sock is a satisfying and very portable project. Sock makers will learn the skills of picking up stitches, and shaping the heel, instep and the toe. Once one sock is made a sockaholic is in the making.
2 sessions, materials not included
Materials: 4mm double pointed needles, and worsted weight yarn. Quick knitters may use sock weight yarn and 3mm double pointed needles.
