Tapestry Needles No 16

A tapestry needle is a thick needle with a blunt tip and a large eye. As its name indicates, it is used for sewing with tapestry wool. They are generally used on Aida fabric for tapestry and cross-stitch projects. Made in France in the Bohin factory, from nickel-plated steel, these needles go through 27 manufacturing stages, which guarantees an incomparable slide and an irreproachable tip.

The needles are numbered according to their size, with the No. 14 being the longest and thickest and the No. 24 the shortest and most fine in the series. The No. 24 and the No. 28 are often used for cross-stitch. This No 16 size will be great for needlepointing, mending knitted fabrics, cross-stitching with Aida cloth and embroidery on knits. Knitters and Crocheters could use these needles for seaming and weaving in ends with fine yarns.
