Rug Hooking Kits

We are thrilled to showcase a few of these wonderful kits from the Deanne Fitzpatrick Studio in Amherst Nova Scotia. Deanne is a master rug hooker and has developed some introductory projects meant for first timers. These kits come with everything you would need to get a glimpse into the great world of rug hooking. Most of the kits featured here are for beginners - the finished piece will measure  15.5cm/6" square, but if you are interested in a larger project try one of the larger kits.

This Kits includes:

Hand drawn pattern on burlap.
All the wool cloth strips and textures you need to complete the kit.
A rug hook.
The colour key to tell you what colours go where.
A colour picture of the completed rug.
An illustrated set of instructions.
Kits do not include frames. Unlike Punch Needling, one can use an Embroidery Hoop for rug hooking. You can also use one of our sturdy No Slip Hoops which are good for Punch Needle projects too. Choose a 10"-12" hoop for the 6" kits
